Safety shoe for women construction workers
This is a safety shoe specially designed for women construction workers considering the parameters they work on and the difficulties they face.This safety shoe is designed specially for women who work on construction sites or do labor work on daily basis. The problem with construction sites is that they don't provide right sized safety gear meant for women. Shoes is one of those. Women with small feet are forced to wear men's shoe or the shoes that are available. Hence this shoe is designed in a way that two women with two different consecutive sizes can wear it, so that they can easily work in comfortable pair of shoes meant for their foot size.
A field visit at the near by site to understand the daily activities of women workers , the challenges faced by them physically and socially. Interviewed some of the women on site to get clear idea of the scenario.
Basic study and overview of female foot , and some initial ideations based on the same.
The main problem the women face is that on the construction sites , they don't get accurate number of footwear for their feet , because number 5 of a man's foot is not same as that of woman's foot.
