O Pequeno Príncipe | Capa de livro/Book Cover

PT Projeto de capa de livro realizado para o desafio da artista Papoulas Douradas e da XP Pen Brasil. O objetivo era criar nossa versão do livro “O Pequeno Príncipe” de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Eu optei por começar o processo lendo o livro e selecionando palavras-chave na narrativa. Depois, comecei a rascunhar ideias e delas obtive a capa. Optei por representar o príncipe, a rosa, o céu (com seus vários mundos), o deserto e a serpente. Esta última foi representada em referência à cobra Ouroboros, da mitologia, porque, para mim, após o fim da leitura do livro, uma das mensagens que ficou, foi que nem todo fim é realmente um fim e Ouroboros representa exatamente isso, o ciclo da vida.
Para a contracapa, eu gostaria de manter um certo clima de suspense acerca dos personagens e, por isso, escolhi, dentre meus rascunhos, a versão onde somente uma parte da raposa aparece. 🦊⭐️🌹

ENG Book cover project created for the challenge of the artist Papoulas Douradas and XP Pen Brasil. The objective was to create our version of the book “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I chose to start the process by reading the book and selecting key words in the narrative. Then, I started sketching ideas and got the cover from them. I chose to represent the prince, the rose, the sky (with its varied worlds), the desert and the serpent. The latter was represented in reference to the snake Ouroboros, from mythology, because, for me, after finishing reading the book, one of the messages that remained, was that not every end is really an end and Ouroboros represents exactly that, the cycle of life.
For the back cover, I would like to maintain a certain atmosphere of suspense about the characters and, therefore, I chose, among my drafts, the version where only part of the fox appears. 🦊⭐️🌹
