    WEEK2 - Intro + Documentation Illustration
Illustration - Leaves ( guess it doesn't exist in the world )
While graphic design requires to think creativly and make skillfully. I was finding a way to make graphics which can deliver good human experiences, those experiences carry meaning and forms of representation. I started illustrating ''leaves'' which normally be ignored. It has highlighted with pop art theme effect and in the simple composition.
Illustration - Rose Mosqueta ( guess it doesn't exist in the world )
Again, I started illustrating ''Rose Mosqueta'' which is not aways be exposed. It has highlighted with pop art theme and in the simple composition. I used Illustrator to make it.
Documentation Illustration - Fox without ears
The nature of the context is people and society. Fox has always been associated with cunning characteristics. In the society, a cunning person always hidding something and is good at listening. Ironically, the character of this illustration is a no-ears fox in the pink block along with indication of cheek and nose.
Illustration - Pop art animals.
"Pop" Art refers to "popular culture". It is art created to show an object or person in a new way. The chosen object or person would be one that would be easily recognizable by any person. Influnced by Andy Warhol's pop art graphics, I made this image with various Australian animals.
Week 3 - Visual Commentary & Storytelling
Visual Commentory - "Socialism with Chinese characteristics"
It is a visual commentory indicating '' Harmonious Chinese society" . Ironically, instead of harmonious society, complicated social phenomenon including freak bureaucracy and corruption do exist since always. Red star means community party while numerous circles stand for the different social classes gathering together layer by layer. It represents the obscure relationship between them.

Visual Commantory - "草泥马祖国"
Influenced by Ai’s famous photo, the artist gives the finger to Beijing’s iconic Forbidden City. I made this with simple post-effects, expressing my thoughts, however, I don’t hate my country, but I hope it becomes a better place someday. In Chinese, “草泥马”(Alpaca) has a homophonic word, it simply means “fuck off”.
Visual Commentory - '' Why I don't have my mouse "
It has a view of “If there is no free speech, every single life has lived in vain”. With visual impact, this illustration refers to the censorship system in China; it simply reflects the factual circumstance in real world network environment.
Visual Commantory - A quote from Xi Jinping
"Corruption could lead to the collapse of the Party and the downfall of the State" By Chinese chairman Xi Jinping. I colored his cheek in a little bit of pink indicating his is a little bit shy. The theme is obvious: The bureaucracy always says something people like to hear but their actions always much slower than their speed at talking.
Story Telling - "立入禁止"
“立入禁止” is a chinese word and it also used in Japanese, it means this place is being forbidden.
Tutorial Drawing - Turtle
Yes....
I drew it, I like it anyway.

Illustration as persuasion
An image in Flickr made by Alexandre De Sève impressed me, it was a simple blue background with few words : Design is using Helvetica. And I happened watched a documentary called Helvetica. This is my idea came into my mind naturally by asking "Why we use Helvetica in design" making the first half sentence.
Illustration as identity - Angie
Yeah, that is my girfriend Angie, it doesn't look like my first sketch. Much better I guess.

Aperture setting - 2.4
This is a MP3 Player I have, I took this photo using Mirco-focus mode. Setting up aperture to 2.4 in order to capture the focused object and blurry background. BTW, I made the theme a bit interesting, putting Player with a spoon in the plate.
