Live scribing, also known as graphic recording, involves capturing spoken content visually through real-time illustrations, helping to convey ideas, discussions, and presentations in a dynamic and engaging way.
CHALLENGE
I was commissioned to capture the essence of various online events for two charities:
National Youth Engagment Network and ICS for
- Solidarity Call for Climate Action
- A Global Climate hackathon
VSO for:
- International Women's Day
- VSO Awards Ceremony
SOLUTION
As a live illustrator, my role involves actively listening, synthesize=ing information, and creating dynamic visual records which translate spoken words into captivating illustrations during events, meetings, and conferences. These visual representations enhance communication, foster engagement and serve as powerful takeaways, reinforcing key messages and sparking curiosity long after the events conclude.
