VILNIUS OLD TOWN
This apartment was renovated for rent in 2023. With the total floor area of 39 sq. m only, it has 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen, separate WC and spacious hallway. It is very light and vibrant, very much suitable for the location itself.
The entrance is wide and spacious. It has all necessary conveniences as a large wardrobe, a big mirror and a bench, as well as a little cute shelf with hidden organizing hooks for keys and other details. We also get a daylight from the kitchen space.
The bigger room has around 12 sq. m and is suitable for a single person or a couple. There is a good quality sofa, a wardrobe and a workplace. There is a possibility to add a TV or use the front wall as a projector screen.
The smaller room is even more compact: just up to 8 sq. m, but also fully equipped for a student and still feels spacious and bright.
We also have a fully separate restroom and bathroom, so the spaces are decorated in the same style. Even though the spaces are tight, we managed to install a hygienic shower in the restroom, a bathtub, a shower screen in the bathroom, and even a washing/drying machine under a wide countertop with an integrated basin.
The kitchen is also modest in area, only 8 sq. meters. However, luxuriously large windows and a beautiful view of a cozy green courtyard give this space a joyful mood. The pretty budget IKEA kitchen assembly looks harmonious and has a great capacity for home goods, though.
We paid attention to every detail to make the place as comfortable as possible for everyday modern life. At the same time, we kept an eye on saving the vibe of the Old Town. Genius loci matter!
Below, you can see a floor plan from our project. We had a tricky moment with an angled wall between the kitchen and the smaller room, but our client refused to demolish it.
