"Mind Over Matter" is a saying that many have heard, but few execute to perfection. This piece is an interpretation of that. There are 3 layers of similar but different meanings.

Floating about the skull is, Metatron's Cube, often used for manifesting and creating, it sits above the head where the Crown Chakra would be. This is area through which the ideas flow into or minds from the Aether. Unseen, yet still there.

Once the thought reaches our mind we begin to process it. In this piece the mind is 3D plaster to give the viewer a chance to understand that our mind (brain) can be more real than the physical world around us. Although, we cannot physically see our brains, in most cases.

The actual skull is a representation of the "3D effect" we would get from glasses. its the physical. Its how we make things happen. Some things may not be in reach, at the moment, but it can be. The teeth symbol for peace known as the "Om". A sound used in meditation and symbolizes "reality"
