CONCEPT
There are three keywords that serve as the foundation in this design: brave yet whimsical, elegant, and sculptural. These are embodied with a contemporary-fantasy style and a composition of forms that reflect ephemeral beauty.
Ephemeral beauty refers to a transient or temporary form of beauty that exists only for a short duration. It encompasses elements, experiences, or creations that are fleeting in nature, existing for a brief moment before fading away.

technique & construction
First, the DVD is boiled for a while, this stage is useful to facilitate the separation of the DVD layers. One DVD will be divided into two sheets according to its layers. The first layer will produce a DVD sheet with a transparent color and the second layer will produce a DVD sheet with a golden color. Then each DVD sheet is used to make several modules determined based on size and shape accordingly. The module size must have a gradual size change and a shape that align with the planned ephemeral beauty direction. To create holes in each module, the DVD discs are drilled with a jewelry drill to form smooth holes without damaging or breaking them. After that, each module is heated one by one according to the desired curvature using a heat gun, this is aimed to create waves and volume of each unique module. These modules are then glued together in the right parts to match the designed composition.
