This is a rebranding project of Korea Cup, Korea Republic's FA Cup.
Established in 1996, the competition has been one of the historic titles in K League. With the benefit of being qualified for AFC Champions League, every team participating in Korea Cup aspire to win the cup.
In reference to several cases of Football Association Cup crests in Europe, which are mainly made based on the crest of their own FA's logo, I got inspiration from the shape of tiger in the Korean Football Association's emblem.
Along with the shape of tiger representing strength and valor of the team, I also put re-created symbol of trophy with colors of Taegeuk-Gi, Korea's national flag.
