My work portrays the many expressions of Brazilian popular culture. In this series of 4 illustrations, I sought to pay homage to samba, a major exponent of our culture. The series is called "Samba Circle", it was created using mixed media, with the drawing done in colored pencil on paper to bring out the real texture of the material, and the coloring done digitally using Photoshop.
