Work process
My artwork is based on the interaction between human emotions and colors. During the process, I focused on reflecting the emotions and inner worlds of each figure through colors. I integrated Benjamin's theory of aura and Simulacra theory into my work.
Benjamin's theory emphasizes the aesthetic value and meaning inherent in objects or things. Drawing from this theory, I highlighted the aura of each figure by expressing their inner world through colors. Human emotions and feelings can be represented by light and colors, enabling viewers to intuitively understand the inner world of each figure through the artwork.
Simulacra theory suggests that value is bestowed through imitation and mimicry rather than reality and facts. Applying this theory to my artwork, I distorted emotions and inner worlds through colors, creating a more emotional and imaginative environment. Each figure's colors reflect their inner world and emotions, enhancing the interest and aesthetic value of the artwork.
I completed each area of the artwork in one go, maintaining consistency while efficiently managing the workflow and creative process. Ultimately, my artwork expresses human emotions and inner worlds through colors, integrating Benjamin and Simulacra theories to offer a richer and more unique experience.
