Drop - large scale painting for STRAAT Museum

Drop - painting for STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam
Drop is a window to the bizarre; it doesn't present a fixed narration but leaves space for the viewer's imagination. Inspired by classical still life compositions, the shapes and forms presented in this painting result from different feelings and thoughts that occurred in the moment of creating this piece.

Thank you David for the invitation, high five to Hyland and all the wonderful Team for the assistance and support. We spent really good time in Amsterdam thanks to you All. It was an honor for us to paint for the STRAAT Museum.
~ ~ ~

The end of this past year and the start of 2024 has been intense, one of the periods of my life that had a deep impact on my perception of existence and how close we are all the time to the void. Life is too abstract, what keeps things going and somewhat balanced are the people we love. I think this painting is a result of some of this thoughts and emotions, an agreement with the non sense.

Dedicated to one of the greatest and most important persons in my life, that forever I will be inspired by, Rom.
