TRIPLEX MODEL SHOE
In this project I was tasked with producing an exact replica of my shoe (using only white triplex board) of the original item using a 1:1 scale.
Activity 1: Full Model Shoe
As you can I had to create a replica of my shoe only using triplex white board and masking tape and the challenges I faced was getting the triplex to bend to the precise angle I wanted it to be and properly measuring the shoe, so I used masking tape and cut it out onto the triplex with only using a craft knife to cut through the making tape and triplex board.
Activity 2 : Section View\ Half Shoe
With this triplex shoe we were tasked with creating a half shoe from our chosen footwear reference in Triplex 1 - Full Shoe by using the knowledge we gained from making the first triplex shoe. It was much easier compared to making the full triplex shoe, but one key detailed that gave a problem was keeping the curve of the shoe when the shoe is only half so that a challenge, I wanted to achieve of everything, and I think I tried my best.
Activity 3: Tooling Block
In this project I was tasked with only considering the sectional mirror imprint and making the opposite half-imprint from the information of my reference shoe.
