Domestic Workers Are Workers, Not Slaves
The Problem
In 2010, Malaysia is under the US State Department's human trafficking watch list for poor treatment of migrant workers. the acquittal rate of alleged offenders was 68%, mainly due to poor judicial training on human trafficking. Workers were exploited and suffered from gross violation of their rights.

The Challenge
How do we put a spotlight on this issue and continue support Tenaganita in their work to build public awareness?

The Solution
During the International Workers' Day, an enlightening exhibition was hosted for a week at the heart of a prominent shopping mall. In a concerted effort to shed light on the pressing issue of domestic worker abuse, a poignant series of life-sized installations depicting domestic workers were strategically showcased, aiming to captivate the attention of the public and foster meaningful dialogue on this crucial societal concern.
