Structural design

A bolt connected set of unique elements of plywood inserted onto the steel rod.
Minimized material waste, due to the tight nesting, sheets can be filled at over 90% space.
The design turns solid, and can hold a nice flowing shape.

The Construction was influenced by "Polymorphic bench" from GSAPP.

The major part of the project is a Grasshopper script.
Unlike the typical adaptation of a scripting component to generate design, in this project scripting used mainly as a method of production.
Initial curves
The Grasshopper script was responsible for printing not only the contour of the pieces, but all of the holes for connections, as well as a mill-ready labeling system.
