This animation was a part of the collective show created for Fehrplay's ‘Arcadia’ show, performed at music festival Untold Dubai 2024. Using the elemental forces of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water, captivating and wonderful visual content was created for an unforgettable performance.
I had the chance to work on a part of the water element and created this segment with an underwater portal in
a deep abyss — a gateway that transforms the weary energies of the past into an endless, pulsating flow of techno. I deeply focused on aging the portal and the face by layering details and textures. I blended procedural textures that I've created with photo-scanned textures, either by painting masks or using procedural tools, to create this timeworn feeling.
