This is an installation view of the project on display in Miami Beach during Art Basel. Viewers were encouraged to stand in front of a picture framewhich then projects their face above a makeshift body which refers to thecaricature that women are expected to become in a society obsessed withphysical perfection. This interactive video/sculpture aims to incite viewers toexamine the cultural constraints put upon their self-image, to question ourdefinition of feminine beauty and conformity, while encouraging a dialogueabout excessive and unnecessary surgery, implants, and augmentation.
