Strangers In My Frame *palimpsest / exhibition design

The "Strangers In My Frame *palimpsest" exhibition, which embraces the palimpsest method
as a design approach, is a multidisciplinary project inspired by the metaphor of layering.
It transitions from photography and storytelling to architecture and graphic design axes,
all derived from the same concept.

The 'Strangers In My Frame' project began with the artist capturing people's spontaneous photographs and turning their instant thoughts and feelings into short stories. In the project, the artist used projection mapping to emphasize the combination of portrait, location, and object.
Strangers In My Frame represents the spatial overlapping of photographs,
symbolizing an abstract accumulation.
The transparent layers reflected onto the walls of the space, combined with the images
projected onto glass surfaces, offer a visual and spatial experience for the viewers.

In the exhibition catalog, the story text is placed on transparent paper, first overlaying the subject's object and then positioned on top of their portrait on the following page.
This way, the story of each individual is seen as layers, forming
a cohesive whole every three pages.
