Bu Baby

Dear Moms and Dads,

Do you know that every year, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) releases a warning about harmful items that endanger the health and lives of children, particularly babies? Every year, CPSC announces a recall of more than 100 categories of dangerous infant items, totaling millions of product units. Hazards to children come from many product groups as toys, food, cribs, beds, mattresses, and especially clothing. According to data, the textile and garment industry uses around 43 million tons of chemicals each year, leaving residues of 2,400 chemicals on clothing, 30% of which are hazardous to customers’ health, particularly children.

To control those chemicals, developed countries all over the world monitor and apply high standards to assess the safety of each product. International standards, such as OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS, ACO, and KC..., are frequently regarded as textile industry quality metrics because they are verified and published by leading research institutes from many different countries around the world, ensuring transparency and rigor while diversifying the scope of control. In particular, there are standards designed specifically for infants, such as OEKO-TEX Standard 100 - class 1 - the highest degree of overall safety approved for textile items intended for use with newborns. Countries and territories such as the United States, Europe, Australia, Korea, Japan, and so on also regard these international standards or a set of national standards as a condition for products allowed to circulate on the market.

With the love and respect for children and the parenting experience of the founders, more than anyone else, BU Baby understands the importance of making the best possible choices. That is why we have decided to be the pioneers in the mission of safety, bringing the softest and best quality first touch to all children, first and foremost to the newborns of Vietnam, since our children deserve it.

Overcoming beyond the standards followed in Vietnam, we are determined to create international-standard garments for all babies and are ready to bring Vietnamese brands to the international markets. BU would like to express heartfelt gratitude to all parents - the wise consumers and partners who have always joined BU on our path to bringing safe, international-standard goods to Vietnamese newborns.

From BU Baby with Love!
