Frame within a frame & Symmetrical photo

Frame within a frame                                                             Symmetrical photo
What did the frame add (or retract) from the appeal?
- I think that the frame made the photo much more mysterious. It did make the photo blurry, because I used glasses as my frame, but that brings the mysterious feeling to the photo. Not knowing who the model in the photo is.

Did you find it easy? Difficult?
- The frame photo was quite easy to be honest. Took me like 2 seconds to take the photo.

When do you think it might be useful?
- Frame when wanting to direct focus on one specific thing.
- Hard to say for symmetry, maybe if you want to show off. I really can't think of anything where and when symmetry might be useful.

We will see artificial and natural frames... What are they?

- Natural frames are things that are there already. Trees could be one, like the branches (natural).
- Artificial frames are things that the photographer can modify. Books could be one (artificial).
What appeals to you most? Symmetry? Asymmetry?

Is there any occasion, types of shots that works best for this?
- For portrait photos, the frame one could work.
- For a landscape photo, symmetry would be pretty cool, like a landscape photo with water. Would feel magical. Otherwise symmetry feels forced and I don't think it fits in any occasion.

Anything else?
