While studying veneer lamination, my desire was to make a shoe stool with a simple, minimalist shape. Due to the limitations of the woodworking workshop, I made it smaller –for children 7-10 years old according to ergonomic standards.
In the process of testing the stool, children began to use it as a toy, giving a completely different meaning for the product. The children themselves found a usage of the stool in games and other activities. Speculative design – simple, but complex.

Came up with an idea – Suggested a function – Made a prototype – Gave it to a user – The user defined a new function. Intuitive design – gamification of the process.
The light minimalistic shape made of wood would fit into any style: Scandinavian, oriental, loft. With a customisation of the material and colour, it will look harmonious in the experimental interiors.
