A volte arriva il buio
In occasione del concorso “Lucca Junior 2024 - Premio di Illustrazione Editoriale Livio Sossi” ho realizzato due illustrazioni e lo storyboard sulla base del testo “A Volte Arriva Il Buio” di Francesco Morgando.
On the occasion of the “Lucca Junior 2024 - Livio Sossi Editorial Illustration Award” competition I created two illustrations and the storyboard based on the text “A Volte Arriva Il Buio” by Francesco Morgando.
Il buio a volte può fare paura, soprattutto se arriva all’improvviso. Con coraggio, possiamo iniziare a conoscerlo e scoprire pian piano tutta la magia che nasconde fino a non vedere l’ora di tornare a giocare con lui.
The darkness can sometimes be scary, especially if it comes suddenly. With courage, we can start to get to know him and slowly discover all the magic he hides until we can't wait to play with him again.
Ho voluto creare un buio molto materico, graffiato che mostra sempre più segreti e meraviglie di sé mentre cresce l’amicizia con il bambino protagonista.
I wanted to create a very material, scratched darkness that shows more and more secrets and wonders of itself as the friendship with the child protagonist grows.
Le ombre, il contrasto tra pieno e vuoto danzano tra i giochi del bambino e del suo fedele gatto che, nel buio, sa benissimo dove mettere le zampe!
The shadows, the contrast between full and empty dance between the games of the child and his faithful cat who, in the dark, knows very well where to put his paws!
