The Mark Choko contest is an annual design competition organized by the Société des designers graphiques du Québec (SDGQ). In 2021, the theme was “Peace and Trust” for the Marc H. Choko Scholarships.

The various rope-related imagery serve as a representation of the togetherness that our community should aim for—namely, the spirit of cooperation and harmony.
Additionally, additional bold letters are incorporated into the main stem of the ropes together to symbolize appreciation for variety and mutual respect, which serve to fortify the links that bind the diverse communities made up of different ethnic backgrounds.
