Urban Furniture Suggestion for a Viewpoint in Covilhã. The goal was to create seating areas equiped with garbage containers that would fit in the visual environment of the Viewpoint, so that the landscape would still be the attention catcher.

The benches were inspired in the shape of the historic wall of Covilhã, where the Viewpoint is located. Its rocks gained a couch like shape from climatic erosion, which was replicated in the seating area. The material chosen was rusty iron since that's the material of the handrails already existant on the spot.
