I'm pleased to share the logo animation I created for Capture Club X Air NZ in 2017, a project associated with renowned host Jason Dundas, known for his work with leading brands like AMEX and Apple, and on global TV channels like Warner Bros. Discovery and MTV. Capture Club X Air NZ with Jason Dundas is an innovative digital travel series for Air New Zealand, aiming to take viewers to the most 'Instagrammable' locations and demonstrate how to capture the best photographic content.
The final client for this project was Dundas Media, an award-winning production company with a global presence, specializing in creating captivating docuseries, reality TV, brand-funded narratives, and commercials for leading brands.
This collaboration with Air New Zealand is one of Dundas Media's first original short-form series. The series began in Los Angeles, California, capturing content from various unique locations in Southern California, including the iconic Hollywood sign, the LACMA lights, and the Malibu Farm Cafe.
Versions
In collaboration with UP Inspiring Motion studio, I explored various approaches, highlighting the first version where I subtly used Cinema 4D to bring depth to the animation, especially emphasizing the eye inserted into the pin icon, symbol of Capture Club.
I'm pleased with the final result and hope this logo animation conveys the inspiration I invested in creating it in 2017.
