For the first photo Rembrandt lighting was used to create a triangular shadow by angling the light source on the side and above. This was probably the most difficult photo to capture in order to get the triangle shape on the left side of her cheek. In the second image side lighting was used to get a strong shadow casted on the left side of her cheek. We angled the light source directly on the right side in order to get the shadow on the left side. We used broad lighting in the third photo to not get any harsh shadows. For the fourth photograph we angled the light directly above and in front in order to get a brighter image and for the final image it is meant to represent short lighting. These photos were taken in the classroom, with studio lighting and a backdrop.
