“We take the universe to your school” is a collaborative project by Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango whose purpose is to bring astronomy to elementary schools children in a fun way through activites in their own schools. Taught by Dr. Alfredo Santillán.
This project required a logo, posters for workshops and conferences, a calendar and a board game.
Images used for the calendar were illustrated by children in the workshops, and pictures of various sources were used for the lottery (traditional mexican game).
“Te llevamos el universo a tu escuela” es un proyecto realizado por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México en colaboración con la Universidad Juárez del Estado de Durango cuyo objetivo es llevar de una manera divertida la astronomía a niños de educación básica a través de dinámicas realizadas en sus escuelas. Impartido por el Dr. Alfredo Santillán.
Para este proyecto se realizó logotipo, carteles para talleres y conferencias, un calendario y un juego de cartas.
Las imágenes utilizadas para el calendario fueron ilustradas por niños en los talleres, y se utilizaron fotografías de diferentes fuentes para la lotería (juego tradicional mexicano).
Cosmic Lottery board game.
It consists of 8 cards, each one of them with 12 different images. Individual images are randomly shown with a slide projector.The game is part of the activities of the workshop for kids.

Calendar.
The illustrations are a selection of work by 1200 children attending elementery school astronomy workshops conducted in 2013 in the city of Durango, Mexico.
