Shmup game design project
For this project, I created a game based on a time period chosen by me and a randomly selected historical figure. My selected time period was Viking Age and my randomly selected historical figure was Alexander the Great. I decided to create the game in the genre of side-scrolling shoot game/shoot ‘em up.
Bellow are some of my concept designs for my games sprites, including (from left to right) Alexander the Great, Thor, and Odin, followed by some Viking ship concepts.
Bellow are some of my finalised sprite animations that were used in my game.
