Gordon Biersch Brew Co. is where German precision brewing meets American craft beer. Founded by Dan Gordon, a graduate from the five-year brewing engineering program at Weihenstephan, Germany, and Dean Biersch, the pair opened their first brewery restaurant in Palo Alto, California in July 1988. Gordon Biersch has won numerous gold medals at both the Great American Beer Festival® and World Beer Cup. Their goal since has been to reemerge into retailers in the U.S. offering their most popular craft beers in a RTD can. The result is a visual identity that embodies their classic San Fransisco roots with a new school, cheeky twist.
