Project Overview: PMR Property Group Digital Transformation
Client Background: PMR Property Group is a small real estate agency founded by an individual with two years of experience in the field. Looking to expand their reach and digitize their services, the client sought assistance to create a digital presence.
Discovery Meeting: During an initial discussion, the client expressed the need for a logo and outlined their vision for the digital transformation. Details on current properties, office address, property photos, pricing, and other relevant information were gathered.
Conceptualization: The client drew inspiration from existing real estate websites and provided references for desired website aesthetics. A collaborative process led to the creation of a comprehensive mind map outlining website features and functionalities.
Planning Phase: Using the gathered information, a sitemap was developed using Octopus.do, organizing the website's structure and navigation. Low-fidelity wireframes were then created on Whimsical to visualize the layout and user flow.
Website Development: Wix was chosen as the website building platform due to its user-friendly interface and customization options. The premium membership was purchased to access advanced features. Development commenced, with frequent client revisions and feedback guiding the process.
Design Iterations: While some design concepts were suggested by the designer using Figma prototypes, the client preferred their own vision. Flexibility was maintained throughout the process to accommodate client preferences.
Completion and Payment: After approximately three weeks of development, the website was completed. Payment was received, and final touches, including SEO optimization, were implemented to enhance the website's visibility on search engines.
Future Maintenance: The designer retains full access to the website and will continue to maintain it, making necessary updates and modifications as required.

Reflections and Next Steps: I'm cognizant of the imperfections in the website, but I take pride in what I've accomplished within the constraints of time and my skill level. Moving forward, I intend to continue maintaining and enhancing the website to improve its performance and user experience.
