"Derma", as I called her, is a comissioned work for a Dermatology Office. 

I tried to represent the purity and the delicacy, introducing the viewer in a state of calm and relaxation.

 

From a plastical point of view, I tried to create a balance between the smooth (the skin of the woman) and the rough (the material of which the girl is covered). 

I used plastic bags to create the effect of exfoliated skin but to present it under a plastical way. 

In the form of a neclace, I inserted the symbol of medicine, pure and smooth, acting like a cleaner of the skin, making the exfoliated skin to retreat to the back and disappear.

The size is 60x40x30 cm and the materials are plaster, spray paint, lacquer and acrylics.
