"Casa Bicicletera" is a project of Pueblo Bicicletero that has the intention to promote community and sustainable mobility through the use of the bicycle in the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey, México.
Modu, is a set of modular furniture that optimizes the reduced spaces inside "Casa Bicicletera" and favors a more organized and comfortable environment according to the needs of the user.
Due to the importance of the customer "Pueblo Bicicletero" towards the use of the bicycle as its main objective being a civil association, modu is inspired by the hills and the landscape of the city of Monterrey, and as well, it is inspired by the rays of the bicycle.
The design can be used as a seat, and below there is a space for the objects of daily use or decoration.
The pieces also can be stacked vertically to be used as a shelve.
