Planning which motif I wanted where was the first challenge and then how many I wanted to repeat. I then started adding leaves and that took me a long time more than the motifs to figure out the placement and colour. Figuring out the background colour was a challenge because there were so many colours in the motif itself I had to figure out which one made them pop. I was surprised by how well the dark blue looked after I changed some colours of the motif to be more vibrant and well as the yellow leaves, this was very exciting to figure out.
