I created this editorial illustration based on the concept of millenial burnout. The illustration is meant to portray excessive negative life aspects being digested at once, coming from all angles causing over stimulation and eventually leading to mental burnout. The inability to complete simple day to day tasks within the millenial generation is a side effect of burnout due to design issues within the system and new technology.

I decided to use the hand drawn illustration of the person with the exploding head to add a sense of human touch to my design. I then added icons and a radial gradient effect in Adobe Illustrator. I also used Photoshop to remove the background of the paper from the illustration and adjust the brightness and contrast of the image.
