In our brainstorming session, we were given the choice to select which sector of our economy we should focus on solving, such as Education, Agriculture, Tourism, and Health​​​​​​​ and we agreed to address the agricultural challenges .

Choosing agriculture makes sense because it's central to rural economies and leveraging Starlink's connectivity can enhance farming practices, boost economic growth, and improve education by providing access to online resources and market information for farmers. 
THE PROBLEM

Based on our research these are the three major agricultural challenges in the Philippines.

Poor Productivity:
Traditional farming methods lead to low yields. Limited access to quality inputs and modern techniques.
Transparency:
Pricing opacity and middlemen exploit farmers. Authenticity and quality verification are challenging.
Food Wastage:
Inadequate post-harvest infrastructure causes spoilage. Transportation and storage limitations contribute to losses.
Preference for perfect produce leads to rejection of edible items.

OUR SOLUTION
Our solution is to launch the PROMDI FARM MOBILE APP to revolutionize goods and agriculture monitoring and analysis. By integrating Starlink's low-latency satellite internet with AI-powered analytics, the app provides AI-generated analysis of crops ordered by our customers both before and upon delivery, ensuring tailored insights for optimized farming practices and customer satisfaction.
