MAA Club Sportif
A grand, sophisticated representation of the club's 140-year heritage and new mission was a key objective when rebranding and designing the interior murals for Club sportif MAA.
The three-storey building retains its original facades, as well as its bas-relief stone crest, the Winged Wheel. This symbol inspired the development of the visual identity, in an approach that links the history, innovative strength and modernization of the club. Two visual elements are merged: the initials MAA and the wings.
The interior graphics also reflect this link between the past and the future. Their graphic treatment follows the graphic gesture of the logo, using vertical and horizontal screen effects to match the new brand image. The treatment was applied to a dozen archive photos, chosen to tell MAA's story in images: the M.A.A.A. clubs, the competitions and its athletes. These altered photographs create a fresco that highlights not only the history, but also the architectural quality and aesthetic appeal of the premises. To complement the visuals, a number of historical quotations were chosen to enliven the images and bring the characters to life.

Une représentation grandiose et raffinée, à la hauteur des 140 ans d’héritage du club sportif et de sa nouvelle mission, était au cœur des objectifs lors de la conception des murales intérieures du Club sportif MAA.
Haut de trois étages, le club conserve ses façades d’origine, ainsi que son écusson de pierre en bas-relief; le Winged Wheel. Ce symbole a inspiré le développement de l’identité visuelle, dans une approche mettant en lien l’histoire, la force d’innover et la modernisation du club. Deux éléments visuels se fusionnent : les initiales MAA et les ailes.
Les interventions graphiques intérieures reflètent également ce lien entre le passé et le futur. Leur traitement graphique suit le geste graphique du logo, par l’utilisation d’effets de trames verticales et horizontales allant de pair avec la nouvelle image de marque. Le traitement a été décliné sur une douzaine de photos d’archives, choisies pour raconter en images l’histoire du MAA : les clubs M.A.A.A, les compétitions et ses athlètes. Ces photographies transformées créent une fresque qui mettent en valeur l’histoire, mais aussi la qualité architecturale et l’esthétisme des lieux. Pour compléter, quelques citations historiques et rapportées ont été choisies pour agrémenter les visuels et donner vie aux personnages qui les animent.
