Product design for the Cabaret Mascara commercial

We filmed a fairy tale in Marrakech, a fantastic city. My task was to complete the locations with necessary items and assemble two objects

from scratch: a corridor made of fabrics and a rotating cylinder lamp.

An interesting fact!

I picked up the items for the product shot in the warehouse in : a series of spacious pavilions with densely packed shelves. Various objects are kept on these shelves, including props from films like "Troy" and "Gladiator". Even larger decorations are here, including parts of the Colosseum made from old logs brought

from Spain to Morocco and the palace gate.

These sets have been seen by Ridley Scott. Fantastic!

For the corridor, I used approximately 200 meters of fabric in four colors. Segments up to 4 meters long were arranged in tightly packed rows, creating a space that was voluminous and seemingly endless, providing ample room for the actors and camera to move around.

My favorite object is a glowing cylinder that measures 2.5 meters tall and 1.65 meters in diameter. It is made of five metal plates, on which a pattern was cut using laser technology. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the original pattern, which you can see on the packaging, due to the presence of many small details. In order to create a pure shadow drawing, it was necessary to give up on small details and instead enlarge the pattern to make it more expressive. This object was made in Marrakesh.
