The Story:
It’s just another day in his life at Mountain of Flowers and Fruits. Memories of Sun Wukong’s past is flooding back to him. His life had always been against impossible odds, fighting legendary battles, yet his true nemesis had always been one—death. He had sought immortality across the seas and had wreaked havoc in Hell and Heaven. However, the Buddha had shown him that even the strongest will could not overcome the cruelty of fate. Imprisoned under the Five Fingered Mountain, Xuanzang came to Wukong’s rescue. The master and the disciples embarked on an epic quest for the original sutras. By denying himself desires and pleasures of a mortal, Wukong had created a doppelgänger and needed to constantly face him in struggles of life and death, even after the quest is done. Still, no one knows which of the two wukongs will emerge victorious and become the hero with meaning in the end.
