Poster for JPGS outreach project, JPGS Gives Back [2011].
With the theme "Bayanihan sa Aklatan, Sulong sa Karunungan" (translated: Building Libraries, Bridging Knowledge and People), the JPGS outreach project aided in the building of small libraries in less privileged communities in Lambakan, Marilao, Bulacan. As one of my first works on Photoshop, I made this poster with minimal knowledge on functions of the program. Dumb as it may seem, but I did not know how the pen tool works back then and instead resorted to drawing squares and circles with the marquee tool. I then warped the shapes into all the elements now present in the poster (except the text). I used the eraser tool to smooth out rough edges that resulted from the warping. I learned the hard way, I guess.
