This poster was created for a poster exhibition on topic KAFKA. Kafka was a famous Czech author known for writing often absurd unsettling stories. His characters often feel trapped, confused, isolated or manipulated. Sometimes they feel like as if there is some outer force playing with them. To capture that I chose a composition of a playing card. The card features stylized portrait of Kafka drawn in wavy lines provoking feelings of unrest. To make the portrait surrealistic and absurd just like his work is, I have replaced some facial features with symbols from Kafka's work or took them from their usual places.
