Campaign for Plant-for-the-Planet
Plant-for-the-Planet is a global movement to restore forest ecosystems to tackle the climate crisis and biodiversity loss. They use their "STOP TALKING. START PLANTING." (STSP) campaign to raise awareness and plant trees for a better world climate.
The original STSP campaign featured a young person whom are most affected by the climate crisis, holding their hand in front of a famous person's mouth, accompanied by the name-giving claim "STOP TALKING. START PLANTING."
Due to COVID-19, there was a need to change the original format to something that could be done with social distancing in mind. This was the initial challenge to overcome for the campaign relaunch. Together with our Communications Agency, Leagas Delany, we came up with this simple yet ingenious solution.
Take a photo of yourself holding a leaf of your choice in front of your mouth and share your picture with the hashtags #plantfortheplanet #stoptalkingstartplanting #trillionpicscampaign on your social media channels to raise awareness.
