La solicitud de este proyecto fue muy particular para mĆ. ConsistĆa en hacer ilustraciones para una pĆ”gina web de una agencia de publicidad en Holanda, enfocada en animaciones. Lo particular del caso es que en la solicitud me pedĆan evocar el estilo de un ilustrador que hasta ese entonces no conocĆa, llamado Gabriel Silvera @gasilveiraāāāāāāā. Al principio me pareciĆ³ que estaba mal, pero al ver su estilo y comenzar a estudiarlo, supe que tenĆa mucho que aprender y comencĆ© con el proceso creativo.
The request for this project was very particular for me. It involved creating illustrations for a website of an advertising agency in the Netherlands, focused on animations. What was particularly interesting was that they asked me to evoke the style of an illustrator whom I had not known until then, named Gabriel Silvera @gasilveira. At first, I thought it was strange, but after seeing his style and starting to study it, I knew there was a lot for me to learn, so I began the creative process.
Proceso de bocetos finales. Me gusta mucho todo el proceso creativo de la ilustraciĆ³n, pero el boceto es algo una de las partes mĆ”s divertidas y difĆciles al mismo tiempo. Quise hacer vistas con perspectivas forzadas y diferentes.
Final sketching process. I really enjoy the entire creative process of illustration, but sketching is one of the most fun and challenging parts at the same time. I wanted to create views with forced perspectives and variations.

Estos bocetos que presento a continuaciĆ³n, fueron mis ideas al comienzo del proyecto. TenĆa claro que debĆa interpretar el concepto con mi estilo, mis herramientas y mi forma de pensar; para luego interpretar todo esto al estilo de Gabriel Silvera. En un comienzo lo imaginĆ© muy cyber punk, bastante tecnolĆ³gico, pero en un punto comencĆ© a sentir que era muy frĆo y perdĆa alma el concepto.
These sketches I present below were my initial ideas at the beginning of the project. I was clear that I needed to interpret the concept with my style, my tools, and my way of thinking; and then interpret all of this in the style of Gabriel Silvera. Initially, I imagined it very cyberpunk, quite technological, but at some point, I began to feel that it was very cold and the concept lost its soul.
Termino con el principio. Estas son las clases de rayas que no muestras a nadie, pero que te sirve para aterrizar de primera mano las ideas que tienes. Esto sirve para tener un punto de partida en la creaciĆ³n de conceptos. Es sĆ³lo un suelo sobre el que comenzamos a potenciar nuestras ideas.
I'll end with the beginning. These are the kinds of sketches you don't show anyone, but they help you to first-hand ground the ideas you have. This serves as a starting point in the creation of concepts. It's just a foundation on which we begin to amplify our ideas.
