Winter is slowly fading away here in Central Michigan, and the moss is the only bit of color out in the woods right now that isn't brown or gray. I really enjoyed my time out in the woods this past week getting excited for the Spring photos to come. I can only capture so much detail with the equipment I currently own, and I hope that you can see the beauty in something many people would over look, plus a few extra fun objects. 

This Eastern Garter Snake was the icing on the cake for this outing. I was walking back to my truck, and just happened to see the snake fast asleep. When I went in take some photos, it woke up and gave me some even better photos!
