A reinvention of the norm, Arkitube is a modular, sleek, lightweight, presentation tube, designed to transport large architectural, design and construction drawings, plans, and posters. Unlike the cumbersome containers or cardboard tubes available on the market, Arkitube is designed to reflect the precision, delight, and refinement of its precious cargo.

Arkitube is crafted out of high quality, aerospace aluminium extrusions. The tubes are cut to size, machined, and anodized to provide three segments that make up the modular assembly. Fine-tooth threads are spun onto the ends to provide a water-resistant and sturdy attachment between these segments. Milled aluminium caps are then press-fitted to permanently seal the open ends of the assembly. The aluminium is polished, sandblasted, and anodized for anti-corrosion and wear resistance.

Arkitube’s storage capacity is made up of three segments of different lengths: the body, the extension tube, and the lid. At its shortest, the device contains all paper sizes up to an A2 size. With the extension tube, the device can contain all paper sizes up to an A1 size. We've designed Arkitube to be used with or without a strap. If you get around on foot, catch public transport, or ride a bike, we've created a fine-threaded button system that allows you to use Arkitube with a sleek, leather strap. If you prefer a minimal look without the strap, simply replace the buttons on the end to seal the hole. These Aluminium buttons can be tightened with a coin or a screwdriver, and are sealed with rubber O-rings to make them waterproof.

The device has an internal diameter of 59mm, and an external diameter of 63.5mm. The approximate weight of the whole device (including the extension tube and leather strap) is 0.8kg.
