When Lytro had a revolutionary new camera to launch that takes images with three-dimensional aspects to each shot, we put together an ambitious shoot with five talented and creative photographers across the country.  The images below are FLATTENED STILLS with as much in focus as possible - however, when viewed through the Lytro software, the viewer can navigate through the images and experience a whole new level of depth and interactivity within each photo. In addition, the photographer can chose where they would like to focus after the photo is taken - allowing for new kinds of animations to be created from the images, that were not possible previously. Lytro calls these "living images".
