Promesas de Tierra
University project at EINA Escola de Disseny i Art
Composed by Javier Limón and performed primarily by young Middle Eastern musicians, “Promesas de Tierra” (Land Promises) is a cutting-edge musical project, reuniting Sephardic, Christian and Moorish cultures, the foundations of flamenco and Andalusian music.
The packaging highlight the album’s identity, showing the growth of a pomegranate, a typical fruit of the zone, meaningful for to Jewish culture, which appears also in the Bible in the seven fruits of the promised land. Three separated seeds become a thriving plant which accompanied the biographies of the musicians, the album’s concept and credits. I design the packaging, but also promotional posters, banners and online covers.
