The brief was to design a beer label for Kinns Ale Brewing Company. The design was to reflect the boutique nature of their product and their dedication to quality and craft. The design had to also portray that it is a handcrafted beer suitable for the Australian palate and with a strong Scottish heritage.

These are some of the main elements used within this design. they all had to be created from scratch.
Two main things to point out is that the golden unicorn represents the Scottish heritage of Kinns Ale and is a heraldic symbol, which is seen in the royal coat of arms of Scotland.
The flower on the other hand is called a Waratah. It is the floral emblem of New South Wales, Australia; which is where the beer is made.
