Kolkata - The city of joy, the city painted with different col- ors in every corner. It is the city where the old coexist with the new and the markets of Kolkata is a reflection of the same.
For the purpose of this coffee table book, I've captured three street markets of Kolkata that are each unique in their own right with a deep history that is connected to the city.
From a weekly pet market that opens in the early hours of every Sunday morning and lasts till noon time to a dai ly flower market that opens every morning and lasts till the evening to a book market that opens everyday. this photobook takes you through a journey of markets.
