"Psyche" (ger.) is a piece about psychological struggles, and the coping mechanisms we may turn to - a topic which I feel needs to be brought more into the public eye. I made it as part of an exhibition at Club Hybrid in 2023, an artspace in Graz, Austria which has now sadly been demolished.

The colours, textures and lack of spacial context reflect a foggy state of mind, removed from reality. Most people have experienced some form of sedation in their lifetimes, and will know the feeling of being wrapped up in cotton wool, muffling the world around you, and even the world within you.
