The Dance Company 2024 30th anniversary logo design, featuring a ballet slipper to represent the most common style of dance practiced at the St. Augustine studio.
Here is my poster design in the form of a mockup.
Here is my poster design. I have a beach and a pier to represent the location of The Dance Company's studio, as well as a silhouette photo of two dancers from The Dance Company in a travel/national park style poster, including all of the information for the dance recital.
Here is my original t-shirt design mockup, in orange, the original color the design was done in.
Here is the same design represented in a blue color t-shirt, to represent the ocean, since it is not shown in the design on the t-shirt.
Here is the t-shirt design flat. I decided to remove the water for a cleaner look.
Here is my brochure design mockup.

I chose the iconic pier scene for my design because of The Dance Company’s location and nickname (“The Beach Studio”). I thought the soft blues and oranges matched the “Greatest Hits” theme, and beach style. I chose to do a National Park poster design style for my work, as I thought it was fitting to my sketches and theme. I chose NPS 1935 for my type as it is the most similar to the typeface used in National Park posters. Placed on the pier is the silhouette of two dancers from The Dance Company, to once again coincide with the “Greatest Hits” theme. My 30th anniversary logo has a ballet slipper to represent the most popular style of dance practiced at the TDC.
