#ADDLIFE (Hyper Island WWF Sweden project)

Brief:
WWF Sweden came to Hyper Island looking for ways to increase loyalty from donors, the amount of donations and also ways to engage people to donate money. We had 24 hours to come up with a solution.
 
Introduction:
We started by doing some research trying to figure out how we could help WWF with these problems. Our research showed us that two of the main reasons why people don't donate is that it's too complicated and that that most people would like to feel more included in some way.
 
After a lot of ideas we came up with a user experience that completely reshapes the foundation model by adding more transparency and instant positive effect.
 
Our solution:
We use Clear Channel screens on public places where we expose an interactive image of a dramatic lifeless nature with a message on it, ”Is this how you imagine nature?”. We offer the viewer the possibility to create life by donating an amount of money using Swish*. Each time someone donates money the lifeless nature starts to live up and animals starts to appear on the screen. The more money that is donated the more lively the screens gets.
 
*Swish is a very simple, common & popular Swedish payment app.
 
The interaction from the user is almost instant and infectious, they will immediately be rewarded by creating life.
Using very strong and effective visual communication, and by including the donors in a fun and easy way, our goal is to create a campaign that will mostly spread out by itself. 
 
Our message is clear: “You can make it happen by adding life!”.
